ConPackSys is a frontrunner for compressor systems for large scale Hydrogen Electrolyser service. We have several partnerships with key players in this developing market.

We are currently working on design and engineering of complete large scale Hydrogen compressor systems to compress from Electrolyser outlet up to Hydrogen backbone pressure.

NAM – AWG Electrification

Supply and installation of offshore centrifugal compressor module on the NAM AWG platform.

The design, manufacturing, testing and supply of one (1) pce RB35-5+5 Centrifugal offshore compressor skid for NAM Ameland Westgat electrification. The delivery includes a common 3-point mount skid sub baseframe with anti vibration mounts to install and lift the combined E-motor, gear and compressor skid. Including full E&I container with LV swithgear, PACO cabinet and Aux transformer. Also included is a complete process skid with a fluid seperator and piping.

Elengy – LNG Boil off gas compressor

For the import of Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) ConPackSys delivered a compressor package to boost the natural gas from a pressure of 4.5 barg to 81 barg. Because the LNG was evaporated right before the compressor package temperature could be extremely low. Special attention was required in material selection considering structural properties at low temperatures. Additionally, special lubrication oils was required to ensure proper lubrication of compressor cylinders at low temperatures.

The total package consisted of a separate valve skid containing actuated ESD isolation valves, actuated recycle valve for capacity control and discharge coalescing filter to remove any lubrication oil. The compressor skid contained the electric driver, compressor, pulsation dampers, separators and necessary instrumentation. Process gas coolers were separately installed on a structural steel frame, located outside. The compressor skid was placed in a noise enclosure, delivered by ConPackSys and installed on site.

ConPackSys was very closely involved with the installation and commissioning of the installation.

Neptune Energy – Ariel JGR/4 revamp

ConPackSys was asked to revamp a previously delivered Ariel JGR/4 compressor. The compressor was used for the injection of CO2 and after 15 years of operation was revamped for the compression of natural gas. Project scope included a changeout of compressor cylinders, process piping and valves, process gas coolers and engineering check to study for example the gas pulsations and torsional vibrations.

Scope of supply:

– Changeout of compressor cylinders
– Supply and installation of compressor pulsation dampers
– Supply and installation of seperator skid / module
– Supply and installation of air cooled process heat exchanger

ONE-Dyas – Depletion compressor

Engineering, design, manufacturing and transport of one depletion compressor for a site in the Netherlands. The compression solution is an Ariel JGC/4 reciprocating compressor driven by a variable speed 1.4 MW driver. During operation suction pressures would drop from 30 barg to as low as 5 barg due to well depletion. Therefore the compressor could easily be converted into three stage service. Compressor was packaged completely including cyclone separators, unit control panel, instrumentation for control and safeguarding, lubrication system.

CO2 Injection compressor

Engineering, design, manufacturing, testing and supply of one compressor package, including skid frame, associated
equipment, piping, instrumentation and control system for one reciprocating compressor .
The compressor package consists of a horizontal four stage reciprocating compressor (Ariel JGR/4) driven by a 355 kW
variable speed electrical motor, injecting 100% wet CO2 at a discharge pressure 90 barg.
Completion June 2004.
